Re: West Ham to recall Vlasic
No it wouldn’t Surf, Emerson has been here less than a season and is clearly a wingback. We’ve known Cresswell’s weaknesses as a left back for a good few seasons now…. and it has actually cost us results….

Re: West Ham to recall Vlasic
Yes, this... and the fact that Cresswell's contract has also been extended during a season which is very comfortably his worst ever in a west ham shirt

Re: West Ham to recall Vlasic
A bigger gripe would be paying £13m for a Cresswell replacement who can't force him out of the team. Except for one run, he was shit against Everton.

Re: West Ham to recall Vlasic
Cresswell's match day squad place hasn't been taken from him so he is far from being recognised as surplus......until they buy in another left back and make Emerson the back up, THEN Cresswell can be recognised as surplus......this is the huge gripe with management.

So is this just more made up bollocks

Re: West Ham to recall Vlasic
Think this is more to do with it being recognised the Cresswell is surplus to requirements so Vlasic’s refusal or lack of inclination to hold his hand on the left is no longer an issue. An attack of Benrahma and Bowen with him as no. 10 would now presumably be the way forward if we had a normal football regime.

Re: West Ham to recall Vlasic
We don't have that option to recall him and why would Torino cancel his loan spell when he's one of the most creative players for them ? Sanctioning that signing for £25m was as bad if not as bad as Jordan Hugill signing.

Re: West Ham to recall Vlasic
He would be great in a 3-4-1-2 as would Fornals in central midfield with Rice doing the sweeper role from defence.

Pochettino plays his football like that...

Re: West Ham to recall Vlasic
The only reason to bring him back is because someone wants to buy him.

''Fornals is another that's had eighteen months of his career flushed down the toilet as the jock prick uses him completely out of position''

Yea good point that, Miike, I'm not Fornals biggest fan, too many loose passes for my liking, but he's not a bad player overall but has now become just an insignificance, almost forgotten about, does anyone even know what his role is these days? he should be coming into his peak now as a player and fully up to to speed in the PL, instead he has gone backwards and seemingly absolutely no interest in him from other clubs either.

How is Moyes still here, it's incredible.

But can he put 20 crosses in the box for Scamacca in 90mins?

Re: West Ham to recall Vlasic
Lol, yea because westhamzone.com says so. He's not coming back, thankfully. He's crap (in any position)

Re: West Ham to recall Vlasic
As an attacking midfielder he would our joint top scorer with Bowen with 4 goals and 2 assist in 19 games

master 12:45 Thu Jan 26
Re: West Ham to recall Vlasic
He ain't coming back.
He's pretty crap.
He scored 3 goals early doors and 1 recently but otherwise he plays 90 mins every week and doesn't supply assists or goals.

Re: West Ham to recall Vlasic
Excellent news now use him in the CAM position!

Re: West Ham to recall Vlasic
Yet another player moyes has no idea what to do with. Is sullivan still alive, maybe living on a ventillator? How the hell can he sit back and allow our club to be dragged through the crap by a 'manager' who has lost the dressing room, has no idea how to get a performance from the team and players will not join us to play for him? Allegedly even one player at least wouldn't sign for Everton for fear Moyes might become their manager, god forbid we have some trash in our boardroom!!!

“Vlasic is currently one of the Best chance creators in Europe”

“Doesn’t feature in Moyes plans”.

Sounds about right

Moyes picks, almost invariably, the least suitable position for the new player's skillset. Haller was a great example who is a good second striker but was played as a target man.

Re: West Ham to recall Vlasic
Whats Thomas "Der Hammer" Hitzlsperger up to these days?

Maybe another loan and he can actually play some games this time............

Crassus 11:13 Wed Jan 25
Re: West Ham to recall Vlasic
Another thing about Moyes and buying players
How many times have you heard his post buy presser where he says the lad can play in various positions so gives us options
NO
Buy a player and play him where he excels, not a shoe hornable or Jack of no trades
